We are pleased to announce that we will hold a Beginners Workshop of Computing Server as follows.
The first session of the workshop provides basic training for beginners of Computing Servers, and "staging" technique for accelerating file I/O . The topic of second session is Parallelization. if you have any interest of Parallel Programming, please join us.
The third session focuses GUI Applications. Let's try to run useful GUI applications via hands-on.
Please note that questions in English are welcome although the orientation will be basically conducted in Japanese.
Note :
* This workshop will be recorded and published via JAIST LMS system.
* For hands-on, please prepare the following requirements of your PC.
- Access to JAIST network
VPN or fep is required if you aren't in JAIST.
- Terminal software for SSH session
example: mobaXterm/putty/WSL2(windows), XQuartz(MacOS)
# If you aren't familiar with using CUI based editor(vi, emacs, etc), we recommend you install mobaXterm or XQuartz.
