For security reasons, the WebMail service which enables users to receive and send mails
will introduce 2-step verification (one time password in addition to JAIST ID and
password) according to the following schedule.

2019/01/15: Start the service of 2-Step verification registration system (One time password)
2019/01/15 - 2019/02/28: Trial period of the WebMail service using 2-step verification
2019/03/01: Start the WebMail service with 2-step verification all over JAIST network environment
** Supplementary Information **
- Information about how to use and test 2-step verification registration system during the trial
period, please see the following "Related Links" page. - The introduction has no effect on the users who use email client software programs such as
Thunderbird - 2-step verification is applied to only the WebMail service when accessed from outside JAIST
(excluding VPN connection) at present, possibly expanding to other services.
