              Cray XC40 with Urika-XC(Deep Learning Tools)

 We are pleased to announce that we will hold a Computer workshop, "Cray XC40 with Urika(Deep Learning Tools)" as follows.

The workshop provides some interesting contents such as how to build personal python environment on XC40. The aims of the workshop is parallelization of Tensorflow.

This workshop will be conducted online, and conducted in Japanese, but the English handout is available.

Note :

  * This course requires the following experience and knowledge.

    - knowledge of command-line operation for UNIX-like systems (file operations, text editing, etc.).

    - knowledge about Python and Tensorflow.

   * This workshop will be held online.

   * This workshop will be recorded.

   * Please prepare the following requirements for the pc to be used for hands-on.

   - Please make sure you have access to the JAIST network before this workshop begins.

   - Please use "SSL-VPN Service" when you participate from off-campus.

   - Please install the following applications in advance

      so that you can connect to JAIST's wireless lan and access the Unix

      environment using ssh.

       - movaXterm

       - Windows Subsystem for Linux
