Computing Server Orientation
We will hold a Computing Server Orientation on the following schedule.
In the orientation, our professors will explain clearly about parallel computer systems of JAIST, which enable the participants learn the features of the systems, the points of usage, and so on.
After the explanation, the hands-on tutorial provides basic training on how to use our parallel computer including usage of python, examples of applications.
We encourage you to join our orientation, if you are interested in or you have any plan to use our parallel computers.
Please fill out the application form at the below web site in advance.
This orientation will be conducted online using "Webex".
Please note that questions in English are welcome although the orientation will be basically conducted in Japanese.

(3) join the "1014 Computing Server Orientation" channel

Note:
* This workshop will be held online.
* This workshop will be recorded.
* Please prepare the following requirements for the pc to be used for hands-on.
- Please make sure you have access to the JAIST network before this workshop begins.
- Please use "SSL-VPN Service" when you participate from off-campus.
- Please install the following applications.
If your PC OS is Windows, we recommend "Windows Subsystem for Linux 2", "movaXterm".
- Please prepare to connect to the computing server via ssh with the terminal application.
