JAIST Wi-Fi is used in most places on campus, but a JAIST account is required to connect. We provide temporary Wi-Fi service for new students to use before receiving JAIST account. For using the temporary Wi-Fi, please follow steps to print out the account notice of "Wi-Fi service for New Students".

• JAIST student ID card is required for account notice.
  For questions about student ID cards, contact the Student Wlfare Section, Student Support Division.
• The service is limited to the end of the month of enrollment at JAIST.
  After receiving your account, you can use JAIST Wi-Fi (SSID: JAIST).
• You can receive your JAIST account after attending the orientation "JAIST Information Environment".
  Be sure to attend the orientation session.

Application for Issue

1. Please come to the RCACI User Reception Desk (I-24c) between 9:00am and 5:00pm on weekdays.

2. Place your student ID card over the IC card reader on the PC for application.
   
   
3. The account notice printout data is sent to the multifunction printer.

Printing a Notice

After step "Application for Issue", you can print ”Account Notice” from any printer on campus for 24 hours only. (Printers are also located in the user room next to the reception desk. You can also print from a printer in another location).

1. Place your student ID card over the left side of the printer display panel.
   
   
2. Tap the "ApeosWare Print" icon in the left center of the display.
   
   
3. Check "NEWCOMER-Wi-Fi.xlsx" and tap "Start".
   
   
4. An account notice will be printed. Please read the instructions on the notice before using the account.
